WPA Poster series: The Greenville Zoo

OPPORTUNITY

Draw inspiration and thematic styles from 1930’s WPA posters and create a campaign about a local issue.

SOLUTION

Reflecting the WPA style in color reduction, form simplification, and typeface, these posters encourage a wide range of people to visit the Greenville Zoo. The representation of individual animals gives the viewer a personal connection to the zoo and its inhabitants.

This project won a SIlver Award at the 2018 Greenville District Addys.
